Ian Horn has performed his work widely since winning a Northern Promise Award from New Writing North, including performances at Glastonbury and on BBC and Danish TV as well as at several European festivals. He was the Editor of Verses United, an anthology of football poetry which has inspired projects in many schools and at football festivals in the UK and abroad. He also read his work on a trade mission with UK government to Jakarta and collaborated with Northern Sinfonia on a sound/ text response to the music of Mozart. Ian also took part in the Cultural Olympiad 2012 for London Olympics. His last poetry collection was ‘The Singing Ducks of Amiens’. In recent years he has developed new ways of working with text/ poetry across multiple platforms.
